We’re KWCS, a Ugandan Not-for-Profit Organization with a mission to improve livelihood and advocate for social justice nationally; through Sponsorship, Healthcare, Childcare, Education, and Social Support; with a particular focus on empowering, the elderly, women (mainly Single Mothers), youth and children (The Girl Child, orphans, children living positively with HIV, the poor child, and the disabled). We work to coordinate our beneficiaries with those already connected as we guide them through, on how to benefit from the connection and learn from the outside world to translate that learning into their daily livelihood. We make sure that a KWCS netballer/footballer interacts with an international player; a KWCS staunch Christian shares views with an elderly Christian; KWCS rural-poor kid interacts with a 1st-world class citizen; a KWCS athlete shares views with an international athlete; a KWCS pupil/student makes friend with a 1st-world class pupil/student; and a KWCS welder/farmer/tailor gets to know how things work in the 1st class world. Connecting our beneficiaries not only gives them a chance to motivate them to share their views with the outside world but also helps them to learn a lot of things from the world outside them.
